Did you know that way back in the early 1920’s the first piece of land that is now known as Christian Way Farm was purchased with Guy Corley’s World War I bonus? Or, did you know that Guy’s son, Edwin, also left home years later to join the military? And that when he came back he raised six children, including Milt? Okay, last one! Did you know that in 2016 our son commissioned into the Air Force as a 2d Lt. and received his wings as a pilot of a remotely-piloted aircraft?
If you haven’t figured it out yet, the military is near and dear to our hearts at Christian Way Farm. It’s been a part of our history since the very beginning. We understand the sacrifices made by military members and their families, and we appreciate it more than it could ever be expressed. Our heart and prayers are with our son, and the entire military, every day.
Because of this, we’re beyond honored to celebrate Military Appreciation throughout the entire month of May by offering a 10% discount on admissions for military members.
And that’s not all we have going on this month! We’re excited to introduce our newest agventure! Join us on the farm this spring and summer for a farm scavenger hunt! We have two versions for fun play – one for elementary school age children, and another that is fun for the whole family.
Ask about the scavenger hunt when you pay your admission – it’s included! Christian Way Farm is open Monday – Saturday beginning at 10 AM. The farm closes at dusk, and the mini golf fun continues under the lights until 9 PM Monday – Thursday, Friday & Saturday until 10 PM.
